After having multiple unsuccessful visits with a different doctor regarding my problems, Doctor Hoover, and Selena made me feel at ease from the moment they both spoke with me. I felt like they cared about the difficulties I have been having, and Doctor Hoover’s calm, determined, and positive approach made me feel like I was in good hands. I didn’t feel dismissed, or as if I was expected to just accept the pain I have been in. I left my appointment feeling hopeful and not defeated. Such a professional, caring, and fantastic group of women!

Always a good experience coming to Peterson Women's Services. The staff are friendly and efficient and Dr. Hoover is terrific. She is great at explaining about your condition and the remedy for any problems. And there is hardly any wait for the patient through the whole process.

Very professional and friendly office and nursing staff-way, way above average. I was able to get an appointment within a week. Note, though, that it was for an actual GYN issue, not a well-woman exam-that appointment would have not have been available for 2 months. There was no crazy waiting room time. Dr Hoover is very personable and competent, and I think spent more time with me than was scheduled, but she definitely did not show it! My issue is on the way to being resolved, and I appreciate that more than I can say.

Dr Hoover is the best. I definitely recommend her for anyone who wants a doctor who has exceptional patient care. She helped me feel at ease during my IUD removal and replacement process, which I was extremely anxious about. Also shoutout to Sarah, the sweetest receptionist ever. I was about to throw up and pass out after my procedure when I was scheduling a follow up. She helped take me away, sit me down, and gave me something to drink. She even gave me the hair tie off her HEAD so I wouldn’t throw up all over my hair. If her boss is reading this, she needs a raise.

Easy experience. Arrived early to do my NP paperwork. Wait time was minimal and what I would expect for a new patient. Front desk took care of me quickly. Dr. Hoover was great and answered all my questions. Glad to have found her.
